Delta, the Italian manufacturer of converting lines for the production of hygiene disposable products, has expanded its facility in Fiesco, Italy. Delta added 2100 square meters to its existing building, for a total of 6000 square meters of covered surface.
The extension of the production area with the opening of the brand new building gave Delta a large capacity to build up, at the same time, different lines with all the comfort of space and confidentiality.
Delta has provided the opportunity to show customers its whole range of machinery in construction and testing, having had an adult diaper line, a sanitary napkin line, an underpad line, a panty liner line and an adult shaped line in all of its production halls. An amazing challenge that was worth doing, according to Mr. Angelo Ghidelli, managing director and owner of Delta. Now, almost all of the machines are already in production at their production sites.
Moreover, the investments of Delta in new technology and human resources, following Industry 4.0 framework, have brought the construction of full servo production lines featuring high production speeds maintaining high stability and a remote control system that enables to detect, in real time, analysis of the production cycle and troubleshouting. Delta is finishing the design of the last generation adult diaper line that will be in production in 2019.
