Apart from an intermediate period, Sibley worked for the U.S. automotive supplier Tenneco from 1997 to 2015 where he held various management positions, among others as vice president for the North American region of the Clean Air division and for Operations in Europe. From 2016 to 2018, he was president of the business unit Americas at automotive supplier Eberspaecher. Sibley has excellent knowledge of the U.S. automotive market and comprehensive expertise in the areas of production, development and sales at leading automotive suppliers. He holds an MBA in Operations Management and Finance from the University of Michigan (Michigan), USA, and completed his engineering studies at Northwestern University in Chicago (Illinois), USA.
