Gerg Moran, vice president, Rando Machine Corporation, explained that the shredder and refiberizing machinery takes reclaimed waste in and reformates them to make the fibers they contained reusable in regular production, therefore cutting down waste and saving a lot of money for customers in material purchasing.
“Rando has been doing business in the Chinese market for more than 10 years, and we have well over 40 lines in China alone, so the company has wide connections with the Chinese market as well as worldwide. We continue our reinvestment in our quality with new innovations to produce great throughput and increase product uniformity, for example, by using our new technology like shredding and refiberizing machinery."
For the shredding and refiberizing system, Rando not only can shred fibers, but goes further with refiberizing the scraps in quality close to virgin fibers as much as possible.
Rando also enjoys a very strong reputation in web production for a wide range of applications including automotive, filtration, abrasives, and health and hygiene applications.
“Because of the nature of our airlaid technology, we are able to produce very high quality webs, with excellent uniformity. This level of capacity even exceeds our customer’s expectations,“ Moran says.
The company is also making innovations for its airlaid machines. One innovation is, by taking shredding and refiberizing a step further, to deliver better results for the use of reclaims. The second innovation is to provide higher loft materials with much higher web uniformity.
