The system includes new Evogen EV1 and EV2 series dispensers (able to vend tampons, pads, or both), Necessities courtesy dispenser, Hospeco receptacles, and Scensibles individual disposal bags and receptacle liners, which are lightly scented and antimicrobial for odor control.
“It’s fitting that one of the principles of the award states that ‘innovation is the driving force behind progress,’” says Bill Hemann, Hospeco vice president of sales and marketing. “We’ve believed from the beginning that combining these menstrual care solutions into a singular system would help spur the progress of making these necessary products widely available in the away-from-home market. It’s gratifying to have our efforts recognized by ISSA.”
Hospeco introduced its Complete Menstrual Care System to make it effortless for establishments to do the right thing by keeping restrooms stocked with menstrual care products. The company has been at the forefront of a movement to treat a ready supply of menstrual care products in public restrooms as a necessity, not a luxury.
Evogen, with its modern, streamlined design, makes stocking and dispensing tampons and pads more convenient than ever before. All Evogen free vend dispensers include a patented time-delay mechanism between vends, discouraging repeat vends. Scensibles makes proper disposal easy and sanitary, discouraging flushing of used product. Liner bags have universal fit, won’t fall inside receptacles, and make collection safe and painless for custodial staff.
ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, also gave innovation awards in the categories of Cleaning Agents, Equipment, Services & Technology, and Supplies & Accessories.
