The 38th annual Natural Products Expo West & Engredea, the world’s largest natural, organic and healthy products event, experienced a record-setting year hosting more than 85,000 attendees including industry pioneers and a new generation of innovators shaping the future of healthy products. The show was held March 7-11 at the Anaheim Convention Center and brought together 3521 exhibiting companies, including more than 600 first-time exhibitors. Compostable Diapers from Poof
At Natural Products Expo West 2018, new brand Poof Diapers discussed its line of biodegradable and compostable diapers. Made with non-GMO corn, Poof Diapers begin to break down at 4-6 months. Canadian brand Attitude showed off its line of biodegradable diapers and baby wipes at Expo West. According to the company, the hypoallergenic diaper is free of fragrances, dyes, print and lotions that can irritate skin and which contain harmful carcinogens and endocrine disruptors. The diaper’s exterior and interior linings are composed of biodegradable polymer and an absorbent layer composed of cellulose (biodegradable wood pulp).
