15 years after the event premiered, Outlook 2016 attracts 460 delegates in Madrid
15 Years in the Making
Last month, more than 460 representatives of the nonwovens industry attended the EDANA-sponsored Outlook conference in Madrid, Spain. The conference focuses on the nonwovens personal care and hygiene products business.
World Waiting
Attendees were asked to vote on the location of the next Outlook event. In edition to the European version of Outlook, which will return to Portugal in 2017, similar events are held in South America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Passing the Torch
During the event, outgoing EDANA chairperson Patricia Featherstone was honored for her ongoing service to the association. Glatfelter’s Martin Rapp is taking the reigns as board chairman.
Global Reach

Saying Thanks
This 15th edition of Outlook featured a cocktail hour at La Quinta de Jarama. At the event, EDANA general manager thanked members Soren Dorgon Nielsen from Fibertex Personal Care and Krrzysztof Malowaniec for their participation in all 15 European editions of Outlook.
