The Double-Belt Oven of the TopCon Series is a modular system available in 2m or 3m moduls. This high flexible design is cost-efficient during start-up and allows for a fast start of production. A later extension of the oven is always possible due to the modular design.
The high quality air and pressure distribution system as well as the adjustable meter-by-meter air flow direction system results in a low energy consumption and high quality products.
Additional equipment provides you with many flexible production solutions, like high temperature magnetic system, working width adjustment, belt cleaning rollers, pressure rollers, multi-flow zones or integrated calenders.
It is available with standardized drum diameters up to Ø2,6m to ensure a fast erection at site and can be equipped with calenders, cooling rollers and sieves.
Drying can either be done with one of our Belt-Oven or Drum-Dryer and both systems use the air-through principle. The main difference is the specific drying capacity, which is much higher with Drum-Dryers.
The Double-Belt or Single-Belt Dryers are also designed as a modular system to allow for a cost-efficient start-up and fast start of production. A later extension of the oven is also possible due to the modular design.
The Omega-Drum Dryer is a space-saving machine with the highest drying capacity and is also available with standardized drum diameters up to Ø2,6m to ensure a fast erection at site.
The In-line-Drum Dryer has also a high drying capacity and is often used for impregnated products.
The Double-Belt Press or Flatbed Laminator of the Thermofix® Series is either used for the consolidation of nonwovens or the laminating of coversheets, like fiberglass nonwovens, textiles, leather, foils or other composites, onto a plastic, metal, foam, nonwoven or even wood core.
All types of the Thermofix® Series can be completed with scattering units (e.g. to apply glue powder), winders or IR-fields (e.g. to pre-activate powder).
Both presses are available in our lab, together with a TopCon MAP oven, which can act as a pre-heating machine.
Typical products are sandwich panels with honeycomb core, UD-tape laminates, accoustic panels, textile, foam and nonwoven laminates for automotive.
