Medical and hygiene

Our color range includes the typical pastel shades used in medical and hygiene applications and bolder colors for companies searching for differentiation. The colors can be customized to match a desired shade and can also be combined with additives to enhance specific performance requests, including water/liquid repellency, water/liquid absorbency, soft touch effect, and antimicrobial effectiveness. Transportation

 

Nonwovens used in applications such as headliners, seat covers, door panels, and trunk liners can be customized with precisely matched colors and with performance features such as flame retardancy, light stabilization, water repellency, antimicrobial effectiveness, and even soft touch effect. We also offer electret additives and hydrophobic solutions for nonwovens in air filtration. More performance additives are available on request.

Building and construction, geotextiles

 

Fire resistance and waterproofing are critical features for nonwovens used in building and construction and geotextiles. Our flame retardant solutions comply with common flammability standards for nonwoven fabrics used in public areas, workplaces, or private homes. Our hydrophobic additives provide long-term water/liquid repellency to roofing underlay, pipe covers, and geotextiles. Color and additives can be combined in Smartbatch™ solutions for convenience. 

 

Packaging, home textiles

 

In these applications where color plays an important role in catching consumers’ attention, we can fully use our color matching labs to develop appealing custom color concentrates. We can also advise on color trends via our ColorWorks™ Design and Technology Centers for new coloration projects. Additional features can be combined with color, such as water/liquid repellency for tablecloths and packaging for sensitive items or water/liquid absorption for soaker pads in fresh food trays.
