Composites Solution, formerly known as FRP Accessories, was established in 1983 as a marketing, manufacturing and trading company engaged in industrial filtration solutions, specifically in liquid and gas filtration, offering wide range of woven and nonwoven fabric media in natural and manmade fibers, as well as in fiberglass reinforced products and additives.
Composites Solution’s industrial filtration division was started and is currently spearheaded by Mr. Haren Sheth who has been working in the industrial filtration field for over four decades. The marketing and operations are led by Mr. Vishal Sheth. Its engineers, along with the help of senior management, study the problems at length and then recommend different sorts of filter media to exactly fit the usage of the customer. Its expertise lies in suggesting the appropriate filtration media for optimized results.
Meanwhile, the company’s Composites Division offers glass fiber surface tissue/veil, polyester veil, specialty release agents, water blocking tapes and additives. It has pioneered in the development and introduction of printed fiberglass and polyester based designed textures for FRP/GRP moldings under the brand name Phantom Veil.
These nonwoven-based molded composites offer users unique surface finishes for home and building structures such as doors, windows, roofs, furniture and more.
Composites Solution’s Phantom Veil is based on a 300/450 gsm fiber glass chopped strand mat, which is the base material; a 30-40 gsm fiber glass tissue; and thermally bonded polyester.
Various finishes can be achieved with Phantom Veil, including wood, granite, marble, stone, gold and brass.
According to the company, unlike plywood veneers and melamine formaldehyde (Formica) type sheets used in panels and table tops, FRP/GRP moldings with these textures can be molded as rounds, ovals, elliptical and other smooth curvatures, whereas plywood veneers and melamine formaldehyde can only be used as flat sheets.
“These textures are capable of enhancing the surface finish as well as the under layers of the FRP molding to high aesthetic levels of appearance and finish so as to create high glossy, glassy or matte surface finishes,” says Haren Sheth.
Further, compared to other products, Phantom Veil offers improved strength and corrosion resistance, and is also water resistant and termite resistant, he adds.
Phantom Veil is already applied to temple roofs in the U.S. at Hare Krishna Temple, Houston, TX, and Sri Saibaba Temple Society of Ohio, Columbus, OH, as well as on the exterior of Summit High School in Spring Hill, TN.
