Jacob Holm has appointed Paul Marold as COO of its Sontara business division. Starting in the second half of August 2014, he will be operationally responsible for Sontara once the acquisition of Sontara from DuPont Protection Technologies is completed. Closing of the transaction is expected in the third quarter of 2014. Until recently Marold held the role of senior vice president, growth and innovation for Clarcor, a U.S.-based filtration company. For more than a decade Marold worked for Ahlstrom and before leaving the company was senior vice president advanced nonwovens.
