Global Fashion Technologies Group and Pure System International are joining forces to produce and market internationally branded PuraVida performance enhanced sustainable textile fiber. The joint venture will leverage Pure System's patented process to produce high quality textile fiber by the utilization of collected Smart Streams from fabric mills and cut and sew facilities globally that are normally discarded during the apparel production.
The JV's strategy calls for leveraging eco friendly and nanotechnology enhanced rejuvenated fiber to improve innovative products across multiple market categories, including apparel. Avani Activewear plans to introduce both women's and men's high performance active apparel product with high performance sustainable fabrics at retail for the Spring 2015. The strategy also calls for multiple production facilities thoughout the world in order to effectively and efficiently serve the market.
