INDA is now accepting nominations for several industry awards—the W.O.W. World of Wipes award, the RISE durable product award, the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Visionary Award.
The fifth annual World of Wipes Innovation Award will honor innovative advances within the entire wipes value chain, including raw materials and ingredients, roll goods, machinery, packaging and finished products. Finalists will make presentations during the WOW conference in Chicago in June and attendees will vote on the recipient of the 2012 World of Wipes Innovation Award. The deadline for nominations is April 20.
The RISE Durable Product Award will be awarded to a durable nonwoven product using nonwoven fabric and/or technology that is commercially sold and utilized in the consumer or industrial marketplace. It will be presented at RISE 2012, which will take place from October 22-25 at the Hilton Baltimore in Baltimore, MD. Nominations must be received by July 13.
RISE will also be the spot for the presentation of the Lifetime Service Award and the Lifetime Technical Achievement Award, two separate awards recognizing long-term service within the nonwovens industry. Nominations must be received by July 13.
The final competition, the annual Visionary Award, will be presented at the 2013 Vision conference, scheduled for Orlando, FL in January. The award will recognize a consumer product that uses nonwovens technology and was launched within the last year. More information: www.inda.org.
