INDA, the association of the nonwoven fabrics industry, has awarded to INDA Lifetime Technical Achievement Award to Steve Lester, who recently retired from Fitesa after a 30-plus year career in nonwovens.
In addition to working at Fitesa, Chester has held research roles at Kimberly-Clark, Polybond/PGI and BBA/Fiberweb and holds several patents in absorbent technology.
Meanwhile, Chester was an active member of INDA, holding positions on the RISE conference committee and Technical Advisory Committee and speaking at my industry conferences.
Chester retired in July 2019.
