On Wednesday, May 4, the Jacob Holm Group is sponsoring a blood drive with the American Red Cross and the cooperation of INDA. With over 7,000 industry members attending this year’s expo, Martin Mikkelsen, CEO of Jacob Holm Group, says the company wanted to create an opportunity for all attendees to make a difference in the Boston community. The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in Meeting Room 201C.
“The need for blood is constant, and according to the Red Cross, someone in the United States needs blood every 2 seconds,” Mikkelsen says, adding that every single donation makes a difference in saving lives.
During the blood drive, all participants will receive a free t-shirt and will be entered in a drawing to win a FitBit Blaze.
On the show floor, visitors can find the Jacob Holm Group at booth #1026, where its brands Sontara and Jacob Holm will be showcasing its newest products and technologies in beauty care, consumer wipes, dispersible wipes, health care, hygiene and industrial wipes.
