PFNonwovens has created an extended leadership team through the appointment of three global vice presidents.
Rahul Nayak assumes the role of vice president global business development. Nayak has vast experience leading sales teams as well as developing commercial strategies and business plans within the nonwovens industry. In his new role, he will lead commercial activities globally, leveraging his past experience to deliver value to both customers and the company in both existing and new markets. Nayak will report to COO Shane Vincent.
Karthik Ramaratnam assumes the role of vice president global technology & innovation. Ramaratnam has a track record leading PFN's successful innovative and diversified product portfolio in the U.S. In his new role, he will lead technical activities globally – defining technologies, creatively utilizing assets and managing an agile organization. Additionally, in the new role Ramaratnam's responsibility is further expanded to include PFN sustainability efforts on a global scale. Ramaratnam will also report to Vincent.
Bart Wiertz assumes the role of vice president global sourcing. Wiertz has strong history of commercial success across nonwoven, packaging and resin industries. In his newly appointed role, Wiertz will have responsibility for strategic sourcing on a global basis tasked to deliver best total value to the company and customers alike while maintaining supply resilience and mitigating risks. Bart will report to CEO Marek Krejci.
Vincent continues in the role of the CCO but with broader responsibilities including sales, business development, innovation, technology & sustainability.
