The Honest Company reported that revenue increased 5% to $78 million for the second quarter of 2022 compared to the second quarter of 2021. The increase in revenue for the second quarter of 2022 reflects strong performance with 9% revenue growth in Diapers and Wipes and 15% revenue growth in Household and Wellness, partially offset by a modest decline in Skin and Personal Care primarily due to a shift in timing of shipments to support an annual promotional event with a key club retailer.
Diapers and Wipes revenue, which represented 66% of total second quarter revenue, increased as the inventory investment made in wipes in the first half of the year supported strong consumer demand, as well as growth in sales of Honest’s Clean Conscious Diaper. Honest also saw strong consumption growth across the Digital and Retail channels in the second quarter of 2022, which outpaced category growth in the quarter.
