The Hoftex Group, one of the leading textile companies in Europe with a family ownership tradition, is expanding the management of its subsidiary Tenowo GmbH. Effective August 1, Dr. Elmar Wind (41) has been appointed second managing director and COO of the company. Together with Salvatore Musso (47), he is taking over operational responsibility for the world's leading manufacturer of nonwovens for the automotive and clothing industries as well as for industrial and technical applications.
Wind, who holds a doctorate in engineering and is a renowned manufacturing expert, will be responsible for Tenowo's production and technology. He has been a member of the company since 2015 and has been responsible for Tenowo's global production sites since 2018 in the function of Global Director Operations. Wind studied process engineering at the Department of Paper and Pulp Technology at Graz University of Technology, where he also received his doctorate in printing technology. In addition, he has earned numerous additional qualifications in the areas of corporate management, change management and leadership development.
With Salatore Musso's proven management skills and in-depth knowledge in the fields of surface technology and innovative materials in combination with the production expertise and extensive corporate experience of Wind, Tenowo is optimally positioned to successfully implement its growth and diversification strategy and actively shape the future of the company.
