From April 1-2, the first Asia Wipes Summit with the theme of “Green Innovation and Sustainable Solutions” was successfully held in Shanghai, China. More than 350 participants from the entire industry chain of wipes attended the conference. As the first high-level wipes industry conference in Asia, the Asia Wipes Summit aims to explore the healthy, green and sustainable development of wipes in future, keep abreast of the latest developments of wipes in Asia and the world, and create the optimum platform for learning, networking, business discussion and enterprise marketing promotion for the wipes industry.
The leading conference jointly organized by China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA) and E.J. Krause & Associates, Inc. (EJK), gained tremendous support from the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA), the International Association Representing the Nonwovens and Related Industries (EDANA), Japan Hygiene Products Industry Association (JHPIA) and Thai Nonwoven Fabrics Industry Trade Association (TNFA). Affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the conference was postponed from December 10, 2020, to April 1 this year, but everyone’s enthusiasm for participation remained.
The event focused on topics such as industry analysis, consumer trends, sustainability, industrial interconnection, technology and product innovation, standards, e-commerce data, marketing, brand strategy, etc. Eighteen keynote speakers from Asia, North America and Europe made their insightful presentations at site or via video.
Further, Asia Wipes Summit 2021 offered a venue for companies to showcase their latest products and solutions. Fifteen exhibiting companies were onsite to display their latest innovations and products. To propel the professional exchanges, the conference provided the ideal opportunity for the participants to network with the wipes industry suppliers and experts, as well as the dealers and consumer representatives.
