Aplix has completed work on an 18,000 square meter expansion at its French facility in Le Cellier. The investment will allow the company to develop its current production capacity and create new engineering centers that will support growth. The investment includes a building focused on the well being of its associates with new training and e-learning centers, new catering and sport facilities.
French president Emmanuel Macron visited the facility to recognize its implication on the local community. His visit included several workshops and he was reportedly impressed with the variety of technologies and innovations Aplix could offer.
Aplix has been a leader in the production of hook and loop fasteners for more than 60 years with plants in the U.S., France, Brazil and China. The company can offer a complete product line to baby diaper and adult briefs and also provides technical fastening solutions to the aircraft, automotive, packaging and cleaning industries. It employs 1000 people worldwide.
