NIRI has named Matthew Tipper CEO. Tipper first joined NIRI in 2005 and has since held several positions including operations director and business director during which he has helped NIRI grow into a thriving organization with a reputation for accelerating acumen. He is a PhD level textile engineer who has previously worked for several leading nonwovens producers in manufacturing and technical roles.
“I am delighted to be appointed as CEO and look forward to helping our customers grow their businesses—that way our business will grow,” he says.
Vera Chetty has been named chief technical officer of NIRI and will work closely with Matt to deliver NIRI’s portfolio of consultancy projects. Chetty has worked for NIRI for more than 10 years and has helped deliver more than 350 industrially funded consultancy projects. She more than 20 years of experience within the field of technical textiles and nonwovens.
