Hong Kong-based G&G Medical is planning to begin manufacturing adult incontinence products in Ware, MA. The company has plans to begin operations at a 100,000-square-foot site employing 50 people by the end of the year. G&G has a received a tax break of $5,600 annually for 10 years in exchange for bringing jobs to town, but has yet to hire manufacturing workers. The TIF board said the company was granted the tax break three years ago, when the company located at the East Main Street site.
The company has reportedly spend $3.5 million upgrading an existing facility in Ware and is in the final stages of renovating the site and setting up equipment.
