Anthony Centofanti, CEO and president of National Nonwovens, died suddenly earlier this month. He had assumed management of the Easthampton, MA-based company in 1992 and along with his wife and business partner Michalina Centofanti transformed the company into a global leader of highly engineered nonwovens. Under his leadership, the company became recognized for its breadth of technology and commitment to meeting its customers' technical requirements.
Before joining National Nonwovens, Centofanti worked at companies including MobilOil, Albany International, Tex-Tech Industries and Poly-Bond.
Michalina Centofanti will assume the role of CEO and president.
