JOFO Group-Nonwovens Division has named Rain Tian CEO following a the formation of a strategic alliance agreement with his former company Fineness Nonwoven.
Tian brings over 25 years of experience in the nonwovens and engineered fiber industries to JOFO. He has deep multi-functional and international experience gained while working for large multinational companies and also through spending over five years living and working in the U.S.. Tian’s background includes a unique blend of strong entrepreneurship coupled with global commercial and strategic marketing leadership. His track record for driving commercial and financial results is strong and will greatly benefit JOFO in our next phase of development.
Most recently, he was president of the Fineness Nonwoven Technology (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. and it is through the recently announced strategic alliance and merger with this company that JOFO was able to bring him and his team on board. Prior to this most recent role, Tian was VP of Global Strategic accounts, VP of Global Hygiene Segment, as well as the VP of the Asia Commercial sales organization for Berry Global (Formally PGI). Earlier in his career, Tian also worked for Dupont Lycra and Fibervision.

JOFO Group is comprised of two divisions. One is a leader in the nonwovens industry and the other is a leader in providing engineering services for sustainable and ecological manufacturing. JOFO nonwovens division is a market leader in Asia supporting hygiene, industrial and automobile specific applications. They operate a variety of different nonwoven technologies including spunmelt, needle punch, nonwoven finishing and fiber spinning. JOFO nonwoven division has two primary manufacturing sites in China, one is in Shandong in north China, while the other is in Guangdong, which covers south China.
Fineness is a recently founded company located in Zhejiang Province in east China. They produce a variety of innovative airthrough nonwoven targeting the growing demand for premium topsheet and backsheet substrates in the Asia hygiene market.
