A.Celli Nonwovens S.p.A. will install an automated warehouse at a nonwovens plant in Vietnam. Texhong Textile Group, a Chinese company specilaized in the production and distribution of high quality yarns and fabrics, will incorporate an A.Celli fully automated system for warehouse management and the preparation of rolls for shipping, at its facility Vietnam.
Texhong Textile has also ordered two rewinders, two automatic packaging/roll handling systems from A. Celli. By also including the automated warehousing system, the company is giving A.Celli responsibility for the entire downstream section of the production line: from wrapping-packaging and storage in the warehouse, including all data tracking, to preparation of the roll for loading.
The system is a customised solution that involves the use of AGV automated vehicles for handling master rolls and empty shafts in the production area, as well as for management of the rolls, from picking them up after packaging to placing them in the warehouse, and subsequent preparation of the load for shipment.
