Jacob Holm is investing more than €2 million in its Asturias, Spain production facility. The site, which was acquired from DuPont in 2012, manufactures Sontara spunlace nonwovens. The investment, which demonstrates Jacob-Holm's commitment to economic development in Asturias, Spain, will increase the number of products made at the site using newly installed production technology.

This cutting-edge advancement offers customers access to a significantly expanded range of customization options and new fabric properties for performance critical applications. The impressive quality upgrade is being reflected in growing production demands, which has prompted the hiring of four new Asturias employees.
