Last week at IDEA16, Spoolex announced it had appointed Fi-Tech, Richmond, VA as exclusive sales representative for its Calemard line of slitting, spooling, winding equipment in the U.S.and Canada for nonwovens used in hygiene applications.
During three three-day show, the Spoolex and Fi-Tech’ teams discussed several projects for converting sensitive nonwovens with even more high-demanding spooling needs, higher productivity and sensitive materials. Because of the constant innovation program, the experience and the process know-how of the French company, these companies trust Spoolex to support their critical spooling projects. With the widest spooling line in the world to be commissioned soon in Asia, one other Pegase spooling line and one Pegase spooling cell currently being manufactured, major nonwovens producers are confirming the expertise of Spoolex’s all in-house organization and endorsing its world leadership.
Eighteen months ago, a world leading nonwovens producer entrusted Spoolex for the delivery of a fully automated converting cell, and a few weeks ago, another company confirmed “we are quite convinced that the key of productivity is in peripheral tools more than the machine itself!”
Spoolex is currently reorganizing itself to think globally and to provide complete solutions to increase the overall competitiveness. More than in the past, Spoolex’s teams assist its customers to move in the “Smart Manufacturing” era! Today, to help them bring their production tools up-to-date and to reduce difficult and dangerous working conditions of their operators, Spoolex’s integrated engineering department has developed several automated solutions around its slitting, splicing and winding know-how. Spoolex supports its customesr throughout each project, from design to the finish line,
Its all in-house organization allows the company to offer tailored and versatile solutions, from single machines to complete converting cells, engineered, manufactured and serviced all by Spoolex. Spoolex has a testing shop equipped with all Calemard’s slitting, rewinding and spooling technologies to set-up trials with customer materials.
