Fibertex Personal Care and Innowo Print were presented with a Global Supplier of the Year Award from Kimberly-Clark.
Each year, Kimberly-Clark selects only six out of 75,000 suppliers to receive the prestigious award. Suppliers are chosen based on delivering unique technological advances, creating and delivering innovative solutions, providing cost effective and responsive supply chains, and offering industry-leading sustainability opportunities.
"Receiving the prestigious Global Supplier of the Year Award is extremely important for us,” says Peter Andersen, CEO, Fibertex Personal Care Malaysia. “It drives us to constantly improve ourselves. By working across plants, we successfully use our presence in different regions and knowledge from different markets to create value added solutions for our customers. Receiving the award together with Innowo Print demonstrates some of the improvements already gained from our efforts.”
In October 2014, Fibertex Personal Care announced it was acquiring the remaining 85% of shares in Innowo Print. Fibertex Personal Care helped establish Innowo Print in 2007.
