New Era Converting Machinery, Inc. announced the appointment of Gary Greenwood as its director of operations for the Asia Pacific region. The company says Gary’s industry experience and versatility were a natural fit for this position within New Era. Throughout his career he has utilized his leadership, planning, and managerial skills to consistently increase revenues, reduce costs, and drive customer satisfaction.
Greenwood was previously employed at RCCT where he formed and managed international joint ventures that generated superior performance results. As a Six Sigma Green Belt and Champion, he was responsible for the technology transfer and technical expertise that supported the joint venture. Greenwood demonstrated exceptional international relationship building skills and spearheaded the growth of several business units. Also previously at Belton Group, Greenwood designed, set up and managed an FCCL (Flexible Copper Clad Laminate) electronics factory with the Belton Group in China. While at Belton, he was responsible for R&D, technical support and P&L.
