INDA president Rory Holmes opened Filtration 2010, announcing a new organization within INDA. "We are starting with our largest customers and installing account executives to serve them. Of our 300 members, we are starting with about 40 member companies. In addition, Misty Ayers and Tracey Bailey are focusing on our smaller member companies and will define products and services specifically for them."
Mr. Holmes also announced that North Carolina State University's Nonwovens Institute has applied to the National Science Foundation for an Engineering Research Center--Smart Adaptive Filters for the Environment (SAFE). "Their application is recommended for funding, but is dependent on the level of funding for NSF in the 2011 budget," said Mr. Holmes.
