Asselin-Thibeau, part of NSC nonwoven, has named Johannes Haep its new CEO following the retirement last month of Marc Brabant. Before working in the nonwovens sector, Mr. Haep worked in the energy equipment industry. “I am proud to be offered the opportunity to steer a company that has considerable experience supplying industrial equipment and a great potential for developing innovative equipment for the textile and nonwovens industry,” commented Mr. Haep.

Packaging machinery specialist Focke & Co., Inc. has appointed Erik Knight sales and marketing manager for North America. Mr. Knight joined the company in September to head the sales and marketing efforts for general packaging, working out of the North American headquarters in Whitsett, NC. With nearly 20 years of experience in sterile processing, packaging and filling processes (particularly in the pharmaceutical market), he brings a wealth of success and experience from his technical background, as well as business development in previous career accomplishments.
