Protecting the world has never been more important or relevant; Protecting patients, children, the elderly, and the world. Drylock’s core focus is to do just that, every single day, with every product we make. We are committed to supplying a reliable, comfortable, and discreet solution to incontinence while reducing our carbon footprint. This means being mindful about what materials we source, how we can improve our production processes, and what type of packaging we offer.
Responsible Sourcing
Drylock has set stringent requirements for responsible sourcing. Suppliers are evaluated on ISO® Quality and Environment Certification, Sedex®, Toxicology and NIAS, Cruelty-Free, and Vegan claims. Furthermore, every Drylock supplier signs a Supplier Conformity agreement to ensure specified quality, safety, ethical and sustainability requirements for materials are met. Drylock is already meeting increasing consumer demand for products made with natural materials by sourcing cotton or bamboo-enhanced, green polyethylene, bio-based, and chlorine-free materials for “pure” products. In 2021, Drylock Technologies launched Simpli®, one of the first natural, eco-friendly incontinence brands in the United States. Simpli® provides natural, plant-based incontinence protection free of fragrance, lotions, parabens, natural rubber latex, toxic dyes, and chlorine bleaching. Moreover, the Simpli product is fully vegan, meaning it does not contain animal components or byproducts and was not tested on animals.
Sustainable Manufacturing
Being conscious of our manufacturing methods is key to our sustainable process. We have taken an extra step to certify our plant as the first facility in the US disposable hygiene industry to become CO2-Neutral®. This CO2-Neutral® label, a globally recognized certification issued by CO2logic®, proves a real and measurable commitment to reduce and offset carbon emissions as well as a commitment to support certified climate projects. We are focused on making our products more functional while decreasing our footprint and increasing the fraction of recycled or biobased materials.
Packaging Alternatives to Traditional Plastic
Drylock sustainability efforts also extend to packaging. We offer multiple green packaging options, including recycled content, paper, and ocean bound plastic bags. We are committed to providing packaging that is kinder to the planet without compromising integrity. Offering packaging alternatives to traditional plastic is part of Drylock’s continued efforts to increase the sustainability of its operations.
