As fewer babies are being born and older people are living longer, an uptick in adult incontinence sufferers has made this category the not only fastest growing absorbent hygiene category but also the most rapidly proliferating segment as manufacturers work hard to meet the ever changing needs of these consumers.
While incontinence effects both sexes, bladder leakage problems can begin affecting women as early as their childbearing years. Therefore, some companies are looking at how the adult incontinence category can work in sync with menstrual care. Creating products that speak to both issues and helping women remain confident that these solutions will be effective has become a top priority.
“Light bladder leakage affects 1-in-3 women of all ages and life stages.
