Further, bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, which can grow up to 30 meters just in eight weeks, thus being easier to meet the consumption demand when compared to the cotton. Moreover, bamboo fiber has bacteriostatic effects. As the protective layer of bamboo, “bamboo quinone” can prevent the danger caused by insects and viruses. During the growth period of bamboo, there is no need to spray pesticides, it is very eco-friendly and there is no pesticide residue. FSC-certified natural fluff pulp acts as the main absorbent material and is fully sourced from the southern American softwoods.
Through the ECF process, KNH has taken this fluff pulp, together with biodegradable and compostable breathable bottom sheet to work out new generation feminine hygiene products of ultrathin and compact design, which can absorb the period blood rapidly, giving a long-lasting freshness to the skin, and inhibit the growth of bacteria. In addition, the physical performance of back leakage and absorption rate has been rated above the national standards.
