Lemu Group's Teyman division is currently building an automated production line for three-ply and four-ply surgical masks.
"This is a very easy way for companies looking to expand into this business, to enter this market space and compete economically," reports Andre Beaudoin, Lemu Group USA sales and marketing.
This system is 100% automatic to avoid human contact with the final product during the manufacturing process. The machine will consist of an unwinding group, a folding station and two stations to perform ultra sonic welding of the ear loops. The masks will be packaged in a Flow-Pack in packages of 10 units. The estimated production speeds will be between 150-165 units per minute, which will feature CE marking and quality components.
The first units will be delivered this September.
