Drylock Earns EcoVadis Platinum Medal

Hygiene product manufacturer achieves Platinum medal for a second consecutive year

Drylock Technologies has once again been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, further improving its score and securing its place among the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide for sustainability performance. The recognition marks the second consecutive year that Drylock has achieved the highest level of distinction within the globally recognized EcoVadis assessment.

For Drylock, retaining Platinum status while improving its score carries particular significance. EcoVadis continuously strengthens its methodology and raises expectations around environmental performance, human rights, ethics and responsible sourcing, making consistent top performance increasingly demanding.

Sustainability Embedded Throughout the Organization

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates companies across four key pillars: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

Achieving Platinum for a second consecutive year demonstrates that sustainability at Drylock is embedded throughout the company; from sourcing and manufacturing to innovation and customer collaboration. The recognition reflects continued progress in responsible sourcing and supply chain transparency, ethics and compliance, environmental performance, employee wellbeing and continuous product innovation.

Drylock emphasizes that this recognition is the result of a company-wide effort involving teams across all functions and locations. Sustainability has become an integral part of decision-making throughout the organization, supported by strong cross-functional collaboration and a long-term commitment to transparency.

Werner Van Ingelgem, global R&D and purchasing director at Drylock Technologies, comments: “Achieving Platinum once is a milestone; achieving it twice confirms consistency. It reinforces the trust our customers place in Drylock and demonstrates our ability to continuously meet the highest standards in our industry. It also reflects our commitment to transparency—an increasingly important expectation from customers and stakeholders and a key pillar of our upcoming Sustainability Report.”

Over the past years, Drylock has made sustainability a core business driver across its operations. Since 2022, the company has operated all manufacturing facilities on 100% renewable electricity, enabling a reduction of more than 80% in Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions. Drylock has also obtained approval of its greenhouse gas reduction targets from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), confirming that its climate ambitions are aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Beyond climate action, the company continues to invest in responsible sourcing, transparency and product innovation, including the development of more sustainable products and packaging solutions.
