AI, cybersecurity and automation: the Ultrasonic Tech Days hosted by Herrmann Ultraschall on June 24 and 25 focused on key challenges facing modern businesses. Around 200 experts from industry and research explored practical solutions to these challenges through interactive formats such as the FutureLabs.

Featuring 25 workshops, expert talks and live demonstrations, the event offered its most extensive program to date. Topics ranged from data-driven process optimization and the integration of AI into manufacturing, to strategies for securing interconnected production environments. Through real-world use cases, participants also saw how ultrasonic welding technology can be leveraged to enhance both efficiency and quality in industrial applications.

A key highlight of the event were the FutureLabs, which served as a catalyst for new ideas. In these interactive sessions, participants collaborated closely with application engineers from Herrmann’s ultrasonic labs to explore processes for next-generation applications and materials. The discussions sparked initial concepts that will continue to be developed well beyond the event itself.

“Manufacturers are under growing pressure to adapt processes faster while maintaining the highest quality standards,” explains CEO André Deponte. “What truly sets companies apart today is their ability to quickly translate new ideas into industrial reality. Our event brings together the right partners and provides the momentum to make that happen.”

The Ultrasonic Tech Days take place annually over two days at the Ultrasonic Campus in Karlsbad, Germany. The event is aimed at a professional audience from key industries such as automotive, hygiene, medical technology and packaging. Participants can tailor their own individual agenda and network with fellow experts across countries and industries.
