Flexible composite multiple layer fire resistant insulation structure.

A flexible composite multiple layer fire-resistant insulation structure has been patented. The structre comprises at least one woven fabric facing layer having a primary facing surface and a secondary facing surface; at least one dimensionally stable membrane having a primary membrane surface and a secondary membrane surface, wherein at least a portion of the secondary facing surface is attached to the primary membrane surface;at least one lofted insulative layer having a primary insulative surface and a secondary insulative surface, wherein at least a portion of the secondary membrane surface is attached to the primary insulative surface of the lofted insulative layer; and a sheath configured to at least partially encase the at least one woven fabric facing layer, the at least one dimensionally stable membrane, and the at least one lofted insulative layer, wherein the sheath is laminated by heat to the woven fabric facing layer; and wherein the at least one dimensionally stable membrane is positioned between the at least one woven fabric facing layer and the at least one lofted insulative layer.
