Patented is a stretchable laminate material comprising an elastic sheet that is bonded to nonwoven web. The laminate material contains multiple bond lines that are oriented in a direction selected from nonparallel first and second directions to the first direction. The bond lines comprise segments with a length of approximately 0.3 inches.
