SCA has appointed Linda Nyberg as vice president media relations and online communications. Nyberg is one of Sweden’s leading journalists and communicators, with both national and international experience, and has held the position of vice president PR and communications at the listed medical technology company Bactiguard.
“SCA has undergone a major transformation in recent years, completing a number of acquisitions and divestments around the world that have taken the company to where it is today, a leading global hygiene and forest products company. Activities to strengthen the awareness and perception of SCA are continuing and media relations and digital communications represent an important part of this effort. This key position has been vacant for some time now and it has been a lengthy recruitment process. We are therefore very pleased to be able to strengthen and complement our media relations department with Linda Nyberg as Vice President. Linda has extensive experience in the media industry and of business, which we view as a strength,” says Joséphine Edwall-Björklund, senior vice president, Group Function Communication, SCA.
Nyberg will be in charge of group-wide media relations and development of SCA’s digital presence. She will assume her position on March 1 and will report to Edwall-Björklund.
