EDANA, the international association serving the nonwovens and related industries, announced that its second Turkish Nonwovens Symposium will take place November 10-11, 2015, in Istanbul. The event will focus on the country and its key trading regions, including Europe and the Middle East.
The Turkey Nonwovens Symposium is designed to bring together key players within the nonwovens and related industries, providing an environment for delegates to both attend sessions with renowned business consultants and authoritative industry speakers, and to also engage their business partners in the various formal and informal networking opportunities offered throughout the event.
“At the request of our member companies, and the Turkish nonwovens industry, we are returning our successful symposia to Turkey, to bring together the local and international nonwovens and related industries,” says Pierre Wiertz, general manager of EDANA. “Turkey sits at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, and has strong ties to the Middle East, giving local businesses, and companies with Turkish production or representation an advantage in doing business with these critical regions.”
EDANA invites industry experts to submit their proposed presentation topics for consideration until Monday, May 4, 2015. Submissions should include the title, four to five bullet points outlining the presentation, and name of the proposed speaker. Submissions should be sent to Jacques.prigneaux@edana.org.
Table top exhibition space will also be offered to enable companies to establish new business contacts, promote their brand to a global audience, launch and demonstrate new technologies, products and services and save time and money.
The advantages of Istanbul as a crossroads between Europe and Asia and a cost-effective and central location for delegates, was seen as a critical element to attract the industry’s key representatives.
