“This new technology offers a significant market potential and we are evaluating possible investments into this technology at both existing and new production locations. BASF will further expand in emerging economies to support our customers’ demand and the new technology provides a perfect platform for that growth as well,” says Michael Heinz, member of the executive board, BASF SE.
The company says the new technology is based on market trends and customer requirements, opening new opportunities for BASF’s customers in the hygiene industry. “This technology provides us with the innovation potential for future product generations,” says Teressa Szelest, senior vice president of the global hygiene business, BASF SE.
