Induction Coil Wetness Sensor for an Absorbent Article

A signaling device for sensing and indicating the presence of a body exudate in an absorbent article having an outer cover, the device comprising: a housing; a detection circuit disposed within the housing, the detection circuit including an induction coil and a marginal oscillator; and a grounding lead adapted to pierce the outer cover of the absorbent article.
