Elmarco sells Nanospider line in Mid East

April 5, 2012

Elmarco has sold a third 1.6-meter Nanospider production line to a Mid East-based customer. This not only proves the success of nanofiber technology but also the effectiveness and functionality of Elmarco’s equipment, according to the company.

The third production line—the NS 8S1600U— which is valued at just under CZK40 million ($2.2 million) consists of two electrospinning units 1.6 meters wide, similar to the first two lines. The final production capacity proves the growth in nanofiber products demand. The good news for the nanofiber industry is the final consumer recognizes the added value of nanofibers and products with integrated nanofibers.

The latest production line should be installed by the end of this year. The customer is a Mid East-based company, which is a significant supplier of products and services for industrial filtration. Thanks to the increased production capacity, this company will apply nanofiber coating in needed quantities in a considerably shorter time.

Tiny nanofiber layers produced by Nanospider technology ensures increased surface filtration effectively, improvement of cleanability and durability of products.
