Aplix acquires share in Parafix

Aplix S.A. (France) has acquired a majority share in Parafix Ltda. (Brazil). Aplix, a leading global fastening system company with operations in Europe, North America and Asia has partnered with Parafix to expand its sales in Latin America where it has been producing fastening system products in Brazil for more than 10 years.

The company will retain the Parafix name and Damien Grimmelprez will continue in his role as general manager and CEO. Aplix and Parafix feels this partnership will provide benefits to its customers and associates. The company’s expanded product portfolio combined with innovative solutions and new technologies will create value and support growth in the hygiene, automotive and industrial markets in Latin America.
