Mahlo names new CEO

February 29, 2012

Rainier Mestermann has been named the next CEO of Mahlo, a manufacturer of modern textile machinery and quality control systems.

Mestermann most recently worked at ThermoFischer Scientific in Erlangen, Germany, a supplier of measuring systems for flat webs. Ralph Greenwood-Mahlo says, “We are pleased to welcome such a qualified field experienced successor to the management of Mahlo. Mestermann will adapt Mahlo to current market trends and keep the company on the course for success with his long international sales and marketing experience, his pronounced technical understanding and his profoundmarket and product knowledge. Mahlo has positioned itself successfully on an international basis as a leading company for sophisticated solutions in developing and manufacturing machines and systems for the textile, coating, foil and paper industries, so a perfect base was created to further develop and lead the company. We are looking forward to working with Rainer Mesterman—together we will continue to look for continuity and innovation.”

Former CEO Ralf Hopp, who joined Mahlo in October 2009, has left the company through a mutual agreement.
