Wira Instrumentation will reveal the latest range of their tried and trusted laboratory instruments for the testing of fibers, fabrics and carpets.

The new touchscreen user interfaces simplify the operation of the instruments and will include additional data capabilities as well as visual operational aids. The Wira Hexapod Tumbler has been redesigned to optimize laboratory bench space while retaining the key elements that have made the tester universally recognized worldwide. The operator will be able to stop/start the test, reset the counters and see progress of the test from the new touch screen interface, the PLC-controlling the full operation of the machine.

The Wira Fiber Fineness Meter and the Wira Cotton Fineness and Maturity Meter will both have the benefit of a new design to provide ergonomic and operational improvements. The larger display panel enables more information to be displayed at one time, thus reducing the number of key presses by the operator.
