INDEX 2011

As the industry gets set to head to Geneva, Switzerland for this month’s INDEX 2011 Nonwovens Exhibition, Nonwovens Industry has prepared a special section of show coverage. The INDEX 2011 event—which will take place Tuesday, April 12th through Friday, April 15th and is sponsored by EDANA, the Brussels, Belgium-based European nonwovens trade association—is expected to draw more than 7000 attendees to the more than 100,000 square feet of exhibition space. Nearly 500 exhibitors have reserved booth space for the show, which begins at 9 a.m. each day and ends at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and at 4 p.m. on Friday. Additionally, INDEX will feature tutorials, workshops, a conference session and exhibitor product presentations. Another highlight of the show is the presentation of the INDEX Innovation Awards on the first day of the show. These awards recognize innovation across a number of nonwovens categories.

This special section of Nonwovens Industry includes information on the trade show itself, exhibitors and the many new products and innovations scheduled to be introduced by INDEX exhibitors. Details on some of the new products expected to be presented at INDEX 2011 are published beginning on page 138 and a complete exhibitors’ list, containing contact information begins on page 68 and is complemented by an exhibitors-at-a-glance section with exhibitor names and booth numbers on page 132.
