Plastic Companies Enterprises, Inc. (PCE) has named Paul Almburg to the newly created position of executive vice president. This new position will oversee the Plastics Group within PCE.
Mr. Almburg brings with him more than 30 years of engineering and management experience. He joined the company in 1996 as president of HTI Plastics, one of the three divisions within the Plastics Group. Prior to joining HTI Plastics, Mr. Almburg was manager of engineering and manufacturing at Alloyd Company in DeKalb, IL. Mr. Almburg has an engineering degree from Northern Illinois University.
In this new position, Mr. Almburg will be responsible for the long-term and strategic direction of the three divisions within PCE—HTI Plastics, Apex Plastics and Geist Plastics. While each division specializes in a particular plastics molding process, there are many synergies between the divisions.
"By creating this new position and selecting Paul, we’ll be able to capitalize on these synergies and work together to find more," said Sam Featherston, PCE’s CEO.
