Mr. Crofford has gained considerable knowledge of the web handling industry and the operations of Fife, MAGPOWR and Tidland during his 16 years with Maxcess. In another move, Maxcess has named Doug Knudtson to vice president of global operations. In this new role, Mr. Knudtson will facilitate the sharing of best practices among Maxcess operations around the world to deliver greater value to the customer.
Mr. Knudtson brings extensive human resource, quality and operational experience to the Maxcess executive team. He most recently was the president of Scott Office Systems. In yet another move, Maxcess announced the promotion of Chris Harper to global product manager, MAGPOWR Tension Control.

Mr. Irons joined Maxcess in 2007 as global product manager, MAGPOWR Tension Control where he launched several product improvements to help customers improve productivity, including IP67-rated load cells, an expanded line of magnetic particle brakes, and a new tension control. Prior to joining Maxcess, Mr. Irons served Texas Instruments in various positions including product manager, product line strategy manager and product marketing manager. Mr. Irons has an Executive MBA from Baylor University in finance and marketing.
