With its recent investments, Mondi Packaging continues to demonstrate commitment to growing its presence in the release liner industry. At the beginning of 2006, Mondi Packaging acquired the U.S.-based Akrosil group, which had production and sales facilities in the U.S. and the Netherlands. In addition to the acquisition of Akrosil, Mondi Packaging has already started to develop its position in North America further, by expanding extrusion coating capacity in the US.
